The American administration's move against the Houthis indicates an integrated strategy to confront Iranian influence in the region and reduce Tehran's ability to use its proxies to threaten the stabi

An American official acknowledged that Washington carried out attacks on several Houthi targets in Yemen, describing the operation as a "warning message to Iran," in exclusive statements made to AlArabiya English.
The American source explained that President Donald Trump directed the implementation of the recent raids on Yemeni territories, emphasizing that the bombing targeting Yemen today is considered "the most important military action in Trump's new presidency."
The spokesperson clarified that the strikes carried out in Yemen aim to ensure the safety of navigation movement in the region, confirming they are the beginning of an expanded military operation against the Houthis, and indicating that the attack was planned in advance.
At the same time, reliable Yemeni sources revealed that one of the American strikes targeted the headquarters of the Houthi Supreme Political Council in Sanaa.
Special sources told Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath channel that five huge explosions led to the destruction of a Houthi command center in the Al-Jaraf district of the Yemeni capital.
The sources added that the sites that were bombed in Sanaa, according to eyewitnesses, included the Al-Jaraf district and the vicinity of Sanaa International Airport north of the capital.
Pro-Houthi media reported that the attack caused the death of nine people and injured nine others, in an initial toll of the American strikes on Sanaa.
It is noted that the Houthi militants controlling the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, have launched missiles and drones towards Israel since the outbreak of confrontations in Gaza on October 7, 2023, confirming that their attacks come "in solidarity" with the Palestinians.
The Houthi militias also targeted commercial cargo ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, claiming they are linked to Israel.
The American military operation reflects a firm stance towards the threats posed by Iranian-backed militias to international navigation and regional stability, a position that aligns with the region's interests in confronting Tehran's attempts to destabilize security through its proxies.
