Amid Continued Warfare... Martyrs in Israeli Bombing and Contact Lost with 4 Israeli Soldiers

On the 694th day of the war of annihilation in Gaza, sources in the sector's hospitals reported the death of 18 martyrs in Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas since dawn today, including four who are awaiting humanitarian assistance.
On the other hand, Israeli media reported that a number of Israeli occupation soldiers were killed, while 11 others were seriously wounded, and the whereabouts of four are unknown. There are fears that they may be prisoners in the hands of resistance factions. Israeli media indicated that this incident is considered the biggest since the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” massacre.
Israeli sources confirmed that Al-Qassam Brigades fighters carried out wide-ranging ambushes in the Zaitoun neighborhood, while Israeli army helicopters attempted to evacuate the wounded, but faced heavy gunfire.
In contrast, Abu Obeida, spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that the occupation's “criminal” plans to seize Gaza will turn into a curse upon its political and military leadership. He emphasized that the resistance fighters are on high alert and ready, and they will teach the occupation harsh lessons.
In military developments, the Israeli army announced the start of preparatory operations and the initial phases of an attack on Gaza City, confirming that its forces are now on the outskirts of the city and are conducting extensive operations.
Politically, Kaja Calas, the EU's EU’s Foreign Policy Chief, expressed deep concern about the humanitarian situation in the sector, noting that conditions have not significantly improved and that Israeli practices on the ground are disappointing. As the EU foreign ministers' meeting in Copenhagen approaches, the European official expressed pessimism about the possibility of unifying the EU’s stance regarding imposing sanctions on Israel.
