Curfew and Large Security Campaign in Nairab Camp, Aleppo Governorate
Aleppo Governorate experienced a state of intense security alert on the night from Sunday to Monday, with massive military reinforcements sent by the Ministry of Defense to Nairab Camp.
Sources from Syria reported that security authorities imposed a security cordon around the camp and deployed patrols inside the area, reflecting an escalation in the ongoing security measures there.
The security campaign resulted in the detention of more than 20 citizens, including three relatives of the murdered young man, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, after lifting the siege on him earlier today.
Social media platforms circulated videos showing heavy security presence by the Syrian forces in Nairab Camp, confirming the heightened security situation in the region.
In the same context, the Syrian "Al-Ikhbariya" channel reported that security forces launched a campaign against drug traffickers linked to the former regime in the camp. The operations led to a curfew and the arrest of several wanted individuals, including drug traffickers connected to the fallen regime, as part of efforts to combat illegal activities and restore stability to the area.
