Fiery Swap Deal Between Liverpool and Atlético Madrid

Several media reports have indicated significant interest in Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez, a player for Liverpool, from a number of European and Arab clubs.
Núñez joined Liverpool, currently leading the Premier League, from Portuguese club Benfica in 2022 for a fee of €90 million. Despite his great abilities, the player is currently experiencing a drop in form, having contributed to Liverpool's exit from the UEFA Champions League by missing a penalty against Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the Round of 16. He has also performed poorly in recent Premier League matches, which has made him subject to criticism and raised speculation about his future.
The English website "Give Me Sport" revealed that Spanish club Atlético Madrid and Saudi club Al-Nassr are interested in signing Núñez during the upcoming summer transfer window, before his contract, which extends for three seasons with Liverpool, ends. The site noted that Atlético Madrid is prepared to offer £33 million for Núñez's services.
In a related context, the English newspaper "Daily Express" reported on Liverpool's interest in acquiring Argentine Julian Alvarez, the striker from Atlético Madrid, who had been monitored by the English club's management before moving to La Liga from Manchester City. The report confirmed that Liverpool may seek to exploit Atlético's desire to sign Núñez by conducting a swap deal that would see Núñez move to Atlético in exchange for Alvarez.
