Israel Claims to Have Targeted Iranian Military Infrastructure

On Saturday morning, the Israeli army announced that it carried out airstrikes on "military infrastructure" in southwestern Iran, marking the ninth day of ongoing hostilities between the two countries.
In an official statement, the army confirmed that its fighter jets conducted aerial operations targeting military sites in the southwestern region of Iran, without revealing additional details about the nature of the targets or the extent of the damage inflicted.
Iranian media reported loud explosions in Khuzestan Province, located in the southwestern part of the country. So far, there has been no official Iranian comment regarding the nature of the explosions or their impact.
Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli army affirmed that its operations would continue to prevent Iran from rebuilding its military capabilities. The army spokesperson explained that Iran launched over 1,000 drones toward Israel, most of which were successfully intercepted as part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to contain the escalating conflict in the region.
