Israeli Escalation in Gaza During Eid al-Fitr: Hopes and Fears
غزة

The Israeli military operation in the besieged Gaza Strip continues during the days of Eid al-Fitr, amidst ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire agreement. Tel Aviv has commented on this situation, with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stating in press remarks that Israel hopes to reach an agreement regarding Gaza, but Hamas rejects this move, according to him.

Sa'ar also threatened that Trump’s plan concerning Gaza remains on the table, referring to the proposal to displace the residents of the strip, which has faced strong criticism from the international community.

In this context, the Israeli minister denied any attack on ambulances in Rafah, highlighting the assault on relief workers, which resulted in the death of one paramedic and the disappearance of 14 others.

Furthermore, the Gaza Health Ministry reported that 921 people have been killed since Tel Aviv resumed its extensive airstrikes on the strip on March 18. The newspaper "Israel Hayom" also reported that the Israeli army targeted Hezbollah positions in Lebanon today.
