Lebanese government clarifies the fate of Duraid al-Assad's family

أكد وزير الداخلية اللبناني بسام مولوي في تصريحات له اليوم الاثنين أن القوى الأمنية أوقفت سوريين دخلوا البلاد بطريقة غير شرعية واتخذت الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهم.

ورداً على سؤال حول دخول بعض الضباط والعسكريين من الجيش السوري التابعين لنظام الأسد السابق، أوضح مولوي أن هناك تعاوناً وثيقاً بين الجيش اللبناني وكل القوى الأمنية بهدف توقيفهم وتسليمهم إلى الأمن العام الذي يقع على عاتقه اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المناسبة بهذا الخصوص.

وأشار إلى أنه "ليس كل من يدخل إلى لبنان هو ضابط أو جندي في الجيش السوري"، مؤكداً أن الأمن العام اللبناني يدرس كل حالة على حدة بدقة ويتخذ القرار المناسب سواء بالترحيل أو التوقيف بناء على توجيهات القضاء المختص.

وفيما يتعلق بعائلة دريد الأسد، أوضح وزير الداخلية بسام مولوي أن اعتقالهم جاء بسبب استخدامهم جوازات سفر مزورة، وأن الاعتقال جاء بناء على توجيه قضائي، مشيرا إلى أن ذلك يدل على التزام الأمن العام بتطبيق القانون وقدرته على كشف الوثائق المزورة.

وأضاف أن "قضية عائلة دريد أحيلت إلى القضاء بسبب وقوع الجريمة على الأراضي اللبنانية"، مشدداً على أهمية إنفاذ القانون، داعياً المواطنين اللبنانيين إلى الثقة بالقوى الأمنية والعسكرية.

يذكر أن بعض السوريين نزحوا إلى لبنان بعد سقوط الأسد في الثامن من ديسمبر/كانون الأول، وسط شائعات عن فرار بعض الشخصيات البارزة المرتبطة بالنظام إلى الأراضي اللبنانية، وهو ما نفته السلطات اللبنانية في وقت سابق، مؤكدة أن الأجهزة الأمنية ستطبق القانون بحق المسؤولين السوريين المطلوبين. ومثلت شمس دريد، حفيدة رفعت الأسد، ووالدتها رشا خزيم، اللتان دخلتا لبنان قبل أكثر من أسبوع، أمام القضاء بتهمة تزوير وثائق.
