Netanyahu Threatens to Respond to Houthi Attacks
نيتنياهو

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated today, Sunday, that Israel will respond decisively to Houthi attacks and their Iranian supporters, following a missile assault by the group allied with Tehran on Ben Gurion Airport.

Netanyahu explained via his X account that "Houthi attacks are part of Iran’s missile-launching policy," adding: "Israel will respond to the attack on its main airport at the time and place of its choosing, and against the Iranians and their terrorist allies."

Israeli sources reported that the government is considering launching a military operation in Yemen, following an escalation in the missile attacks, the latest being a missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport today.

This came after a security meeting led by Netanyahu, involving senior officials from security and defense agencies, to discuss the recent escalation and assess available options.

Earlier, Israeli forces announced that a missile had fallen in central Israel after several interception attempts, launched from Yemen, amid warnings of possible further escalation.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Civil Aviation Authority announced the resumption of air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport after a brief suspension caused by the incident.
