Tragic Landmine Explosion Claims Lives of Three Children in Raqqa

خطر الألغام مستمر.. إصابة طفلين نازحين في ريف حلب الشمالي

قُتل ثلاثة أطفال في ريف الرقة الشمالي، جراء انفجار لغم أرضي، حيث تستمر الألغام في حصد أرواح المدنيين دون وجود إجراءات فعالة لإزالتها أو التوعية من مخاطرها.

وذكرت شبكة "الخابور" المحلية، اليوم الأربعاء، أن اللغم انفجر أثناء تواجد الأطفال بالقرب منه في قرية الفاطسة التابعة لناحية عين عيسى، فيما أشارت الشبكة السورية لحقوق الإنسان إلى أن الأطفال الثلاثة هم من عائلة الغضيب.

وأضافت الشبكة أن اللغم انفجر أثناء قيام الأطفال برعي الأغنام في محيط قرية الفاطسة الخاضعة لسيطرة قوات سوريا الديمقراطية (قسد)، مؤكدة أنها لم تتمكن من تحديد الجهة التي زرعت اللغم.

وطالبت الشبكة القوى المسيطرة بتحمل مسؤولياتها في حماية المدنيين في مناطقها، والكشف عن أماكن الألغام المزروعة، وإزالتها، مشيرة إلى تسجيل مئات القتلى والجرحى بسبب انفجار الألغام، ما يشكل خطراً كبيراً على السكان لسنوات قادمة، خاصة الأطفال.

وأكد مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا) في تقرير سابق أن نصف سكان سوريا معرضون لخطر المتفجرات بسبب انتشار الألغام الأرضية والذخائر غير المنفجرة.

منذ آذار/مارس 2011 وحتى نيسان/أبريل الماضي، قُتل نحو 3471 مدنياً وجُرح آلاف آخرون بسبب انفجار الألغام ومخلفات الذخائر الناجمة عن العمليات العسكرية في معظم المحافظات السورية، بحسب تقرير الشبكة السورية.

وحمل المرصد الأورومتوسطي لحقوق الإنسان النظام مسؤولية تحييد مخاطر مخلفات الحرب في المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرته، إذ يقع على عاتقه ضمان خلو المناطق السكنية والمزارع والطرقات وكافة المرافق الأخرى من المواد الخطرة، ووضع علامات تحذيرية واضحة في الأماكن التي يعتقد أنها تحتوي على ألغام، وخاصة في المناطق التي شهدت اشتباكات مسلحة في السنوات الأخيرة.

ويقتصر عمل النظام وقوات سوريا الديمقراطية في المناطق التي يسيطرون عليها على تنفيذ عمليات ضئيلة للغاية لإزالة الألغام أو تفجير الذخائر، دون أي اهتمام بتسخير الموارد البشرية والمادية لتطهير تلك المناطق بالكامل، وهو ما يؤدي عادة إلى خسائر فادحة في أرواح المدنيين وممتلكاتهم بمجرد عودتهم إلى منازلهم.
