UAE Moves Toward an Uncomplicated Government: Launching the Second Phase of the Bureacracy Zero Program
الإمارات

The government of the United Arab Emirates announced today the launch of the second phase of its ambitious “Bureaucracy Zero” program, aiming to transform government services into a simpler, faster, and more efficient model—positively reflecting on the lives of both citizens and residents.

In the first phase, remarkable results were achieved, with over 70% reduction in the time required to deliver services and the elimination of more than 4,000 unnecessary procedures. This contributed to saving over 12 million work hours in transit and waiting times for citizens and customers.

Decision-makers expressed their gratitude to over 30 government entities and 690 teams that participated in this historic achievement. They emphasized that this success is just the beginning, and the second phase will continue to work on further simplifying and reducing procedures, especially within the framework of digital transformation. The goal is to establish a government free of bureaucracy, with services delivered without delays, and outcomes that make a real difference in individuals’ lives.

It is hoped that this step will strengthen the UAE’s journey toward intelligent transformation, serving as a global model of efficient government services—ensuring sustainable economic growth and societal well-being. The clear objective remains: a government without complications and services without waiting.
