Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky clarified that the new raids carried out by Russia, Friday night to Saturday, which claimed the lives of at least 12 people, demonstrate that Moscow's goals "have not changed" in Ukraine.

Zelensky stated via Telegram that "strikes like these show that Russia's goals have not changed," adding "that's why it's important to continue doing everything possible to protect life, strengthen our air defense and tighten sanctions against Russia”.

Yesterday, Zelensky accused Russia of not being interested in peace against the backdrop of it launching another massive air attack.

Zelensky declared in his daily address Friday evening: "Today, this Russian attack on our energy system and our civilian facilities has become more routine for Russia than ever before”.

On another front, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is interested in achieving a quick peace.. "Every day, new Russian strikes and reality itself prove that Russia must be forced into peace”.

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry announced today, Saturday, that at least 11 people were killed, and 30 were injured, including five children, in a Russian attack during nighttime hours with missiles and drones on the city of Dobropillia in eastern Ukraine.

The ministry explained that Russian forces attacked Dobropillia with ballistic missiles, other missiles, and drones.

Dobropillia, which was home to about 28,000 people before the war, is located in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, 22 kilometers from the front line north of the main Pokrovsk center, which Russian forces have been targeting for weeks.

The Ukrainian army indicated that Russia attacked Ukraine last night with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and one Iskander-K cruise missile, in addition to 145 drones.

The army added that air forces shot down one cruise missile and 79 drones, and that 54 other drones likely did not reach their targets due to electronic countermeasures.
