15 Civilians, Including 4 Journalists, Killed in Israeli Shelling on Nasser Medical Complex

Palestinian medical sources announced today, Monday, the death of 15 citizens, including 4 journalists and a number of medics, and the injury of dozens due to the occupation's bombing of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. The agency reported that the death toll in the Israeli airstrike on the complex has risen to 15 Palestinians, including journalists and a civil defense team.

Our reporter indicated that there are injuries among civilians resulting from the bombing, which mainly targeted journalists and the Palestinian Civil Defense team while they were performing their duties to evacuate the wounded. A medical source stated that among the slain journalists are TV cameraman Hossam Al-Masri from Palestine TV, and the photographer for Al Jazeera, Mohammed Salama, in addition to Maryam Abu Daqa and Moaz Abu Taha. There are also a number of injured journalists and rescue and civil defense teams.

Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza received four dead and 19 wounded from a aid distribution point in Wadi Gaza over the past few hours. The last fatalities occurred two days ago, when Palestine TV cameraman Khaled Al-Madhoun was killed.
