Turkish Authorities Arrest Syrian Youth for Brutal Violence Against Ex-Wife's Daughter
Turkish authorities in Gaziantep province have arrested a Syrian young man, “Y.T.”, after he appeared in a video committing violent acts against the daughter of his ex-wife in a brutal manner, provoking widespread condemnation in both Turkish and Syrian communities.
According to local sources, the young man was detained and referred to the relevant judicial authorities, under the direct supervision of the Gaziantep governor, who has personally followed the case due to significant public interest.
Preliminary information indicates that the perpetrator committed this act to send the video to his ex-wife (the child's mother) as a means of pressuring her to drop a complaint and legal rights filed against him.
