Agreement Between the Syrian Ministry of Defense and French Migrant Leaders to Suspend Military Operations
اتفاق بين وزارة الدفاع السورية وقيادات المهاجرين الفرنسيين لوقف العمليات العسكرية

On Thursday, an agreement was signed between the Syrian Ministry of Defense and French migrants, in the presence and under the supervision of several leaders of migrant factions from Turkestan, Uzbekistan, and others. The goal is to de-escalate the situation and halt military operations in the northern region.

The agreement was signed by Abu Abdo Taoum, representing the Syrian Ministry of Defense, and included several key steps, including:

- An immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the vicinity of Al-Fardaan camp to within military barracks.
- Suspension of hostile media campaigns against the authorities.
- Opening the complex to inspection teams designated by the official authorities.
- Refer the case of Omar Diaby (also known as Omar Omson), particularly the accusation of kidnapping, to the Ministry of Justice for review in accordance with Islamic Sharia law.

This step is part of efforts to promote stability and create an environment conducive to understanding and dialogue among the involved parties in the region.
