BTECH Takes Center Stage in Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2025)
BTECH participated in the third edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2025), held from November 5 to 6 at Exhibition World Bahrain. The event brought together senior government officials, industry experts, and cybersecurity specialists from across the region and around the world.
BTECH was represented by its Chairman, Mr. Rashed Al Snan, who participated as a distinguished panelist in a session titled “Cybersecurity for Emerging Technologies: From Autonomous Vehicles to Smart Cities.” The session featured leading figures and experts in cybersecurity to discuss global developments in protecting advanced digital infrastructures. It further underscored the critical importance of reinforcing cybersecurity frameworks in parallel with the accelerating pace of digital transformation and the widespread adoption of emerging technologies, including autonomous vehicles, the Internet of Things (IoT), smart city systems, and intelligent automation solutions.
Mr. Al Snan said: “Our region’s digital future relies on the readiness of systems to protect data and sustain innovation. The shift toward smart cities, intelligent communities, and emerging technologies presents tremendous opportunities for economic growth and advanced services, yet it also brings critical demands to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities, whether through
robust legislation, or the development of national expertise."

The Chairman of BTECH underscored the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors, as well as intensifying research and knowledge-sharing efforts, alongside the role of educational institutions in preparing qualified specialists capable of addressing ongoing challenges in the cybersecurity field.

He commended their collective efforts in organizing a world-class platform that reinforces Bahrain’s leadership in cybersecurity and promotes regional collaboration and innovation.”
Mr. Al Snan affirmed the significance of participating in such a prominent gathering, describing it as a strategic platform that brings together experts and thought leaders to discuss the future of cybersecurity amid rapid technological advancement, and noted that BTECH’s participation reflects its active role as a national partner in driving digital innovation and strengthening Bahrain’s readiness to address the growing cybersecurity challenges.
