CBB and CBK Governors Visit BENEFIT’s Pavilion at Singapore FinTech Festival 2025

13 November 2025 - As part of the ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait in advancing banking services and digital payments, H.E. Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, accompanied by H.E. Basel A. Al-Haroon, Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait, visited the pavilion of BENEFIT, the Kingdom’s leading innovator in financial technology and electronic transaction services, during the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 (SFF).

The event held from 12 to 14 November at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre, stands as one of the world’s premier platforms for FinTech advancement and banking innovation.

During the visit, the governors were briefed on the latest technological innovations and advanced solutions offered by BENEFIT in digital payments, as well as the range of services provided through its BENEFITPay app, which plays a key role in enhancing the digital infrastructure of the financial sector. The company’s team also presented the pivotal role BENEFIT continues to play in advancing the digital transformation of Bahrain’s banking sector through the development of secure and reliable financial solutions that elevate user experience and keep pace with the rapid global advancements in FinTech.

The governors were also introduced to the services of the Bahrain Credit Reference Bureau, operated by BENEFIT, which offers an integrated suite of services for individuals and institutions. These include the issuance of credit reports, verification and authentication systems, and various digital solutions that support fund transfers and interbank payment systems at the national level.

During the visit, discussions explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between Bahrain and Kuwait in key areas including cross-border payments, digital transformation within the banking sector, and the expansion of financial inclusion. The dialogue focused on fostering a secure, interconnected, and future-ready digital ecosystem that supports the sustainable economic growth of both nations while enhancing the overall competitiveness and resilience of the regional financial sector.
