Emergency Landing of Airplane Following the Death of a Syrian Passenger

A Turkish Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Prague, Czech Republic, after a Syrian elderly passenger passed away during the flight from Istanbul to Montreal. Turkish media reported that the passenger, 86 years old, traveling from Beirut to Montreal via Istanbul, suddenly fell ill during the journey, prompting the crew to decide on a rapid descent to Prague.
Upon arrival, airport medical teams intervened in an attempt to save the passenger’s life, but he died before receiving treatment. A close source explained that the family of the deceased, who was with him, disembarked and continued their trip to Montreal, while his body was left in Prague. It is believed that the reason for this was that the family did not possess a visa to enter the Czech Republic. It is scheduled that the body will later be transferred to Beirut or Montreal after completing official procedures in coordination with the family.
