الهلال الأحمر العربي السوري

This morning, Sunday, two convoys entered Sweida city via the Damascus-Sweida road, accompanied by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent. The first convoy consisted of 16 trucks, and the second of 100 trucks. According to confirmed information from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the first convoy carried 201 tons of flour provided by the World Food Programme, while the second was a commercial convoy transporting relief and food supplies to meet the basic needs of residents.

These efforts are part of international and United Nations initiatives to provide essential materials to the cities and regions of the governorate, especially given the worsening living and economic conditions amidst the blockade and challenges facing the area.

The Syrian Observatory also reported on September 28 that a convoy of about 150 trucks arrived in Sweida, carrying various goods including food, fruits, and vegetables, along with quantities of cement and petrol tanks, also accompanied by the Red Crescent. This effort aims to meet critical needs amid the severe circumstances afflicting the region.
