Girl Killed in Armed Attack on Her Home in Homs
طريق حمص - حلب \ تعبيرية \ متداول

On the night of Tuesday-Wednesday, a horrific crime took place in the Al-Abbasiyah neighborhood of Homs, claiming the life of a young girl from the Shiite community. Unidentified gunmen reportedly threw a hand grenade at the balcony of her home, causing severe injuries that led to her immediate death. Following the attack, the perpetrators fled to an unknown destination. The girl’s house is located near the General Security office in the neighborhood.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights strongly condemned the crime, stressing that targeting civilians, especially children, constitutes a blatant violation of human rights and international law. The Observatory called for the swift identification and prosecution of the perpetrators to ensure they are held accountable under the law and do not escape justice.
