Good Intentions Are Proven by Actions, Not Words!

With the activation of the Trigger Mechanism and the re-imposition of sanctions on the Iranian regime, as well as the futility of various attempts made to prevent this, and after the regime found itself facing a challenge larger than its size that will inevitably affect various existing situations in Iran, it has, following a series of emotionally charged, uncompromising statements, once again intensified its tone of peaceful intentions regarding its nuclear program and its efforts to resolve differences through negotiation tables.
It is clear that the regime’s leaders have returned to invoke the notion of peaceful intentions for their nuclear program after threatening to withdraw from the Non-Proliferation Treaty and to change their nuclear doctrine, because they know well that they are not capable of such a stance, and their situation from various angles does not permit it. They also realize that they are sitting on a barrel of gunpowder that could explode at any moment. Therefore, they are trying by all means to save face and limit the course of events toward a point of no return.
The fixed truth, which there is no longer any room for the regime to deny, is that the nuclear deal signed in July 2015 has died and is beyond recovery. It was, in fact, a bitter experience for the international community, during which the regime engaged in all kinds of lies and tricks to continue its suspicious clandestine efforts to obtain a nuclear bomb.
Today’s demands from the international community are entirely different from what they were in the past, especially since it has been proven that the Iranian regime has not been serious in honoring its commitments and has suspiciously continued its secret efforts to produce a nuclear bomb. It is worth noting that Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the elected leader of the Iranian Resistance, warned on the eve of the nuclear agreement in 2015 of the regime’s intentions and the need to adopt strict rules to monitor it and prevent it from continuing its suspicious clandestine activities. This indeed happened, as the level of uranium enrichment reaching 60% and the concealment of more than 400 kilograms of it indicate that the regime proves through its actions what it denies verbally.
The focus of the Iranian regime, especially the Beshkean government, on its alleged peaceful intentions behind its nuclear program and its claims that it genuinely desires to continue negotiations and that negotiations are the way to resolve differences, are nothing but superficial and superficial IOUs. A superficial reading of the recent statements about the regime’s peaceful intentions shows they are merely a continuation of the approach followed over more than three decades of negotiations.
The current crisis faced by this regime due to its suspicious clandestine intentions cannot be overcome by its previous traditional methods, which are clearly outdated and no longer effective. Its crossing depends entirely on its true intentions, which must be demonstrated through both words and actions.
We must not forget that the Iranian regime has a negative record full of lies and concealment in its nuclear project, and it is a regime that can never be trusted.
The Iranians have a saying: “Dossod Ghodat Chon Nime Kardan Nist,” (Good intentions are proven by actions, not words!) meaning one must be tested and evaluated based on their actions, not their words. The Iranian regime is a clear example of this proverb; it has never been honest in its behavior and always seeks to buy time in order to arm itself with a nuclear bomb, which it uses to threaten global peace and security and to practice blackmail.
Since the 1980s, when uranium enrichment began, the mullah regime has systematically sought to obtain nuclear weapons capabilities.
Khamenei, the leader of the regime, declared in his speech on September 23 that enrichment had reached 60% and that this level was necessary for domestic needs, ignoring international pressures. These claims are diminishing in light of the extensive disclosures by the Iranian Resistance — which include 133 revelations over 34 years — especially the uncovering of the secret nuclear facilities in Natanz and Arak in August 2002. These disclosures played a vital role in preventing the regime from acquiring an atomic bomb.
Without these disclosures, the theocratic dictatorship would likely have been armed with nuclear weapons today, presenting the world with fait accompli. This underscores the importance of international vigilance and shows that policy of procrastination and bargaining has not only been unproductive but has also led to an escalation of threats.
