Jordanian King: Reconstructing Gaza is an urgent necessity without displacing Palestinians

Jordan’s King Abdullah II emphasized on Saturday the necessity of reconstructing the Gaza Strip without displacing its residents, reinforcing the need to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and intensify international efforts for humanitarian response.
According to the Jordanian News Agency (Petra), King Abdullah II, during a phone call with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, stressed the importance of "halting the serious escalation in the West Bank," underscoring "the significance of active and serious work to find a political horizon for achieving just and comprehensive peace," while appreciating Canada's stance "supportive of the two-state solution."
During the call, the Jordanian monarch and the Canadian Prime Minister discussed "ways to elevate the friendly relations between the two countries and mechanisms to expand cooperation in various fields."
