Lavrov: Any Attack on Russia Will Face a Firm Response

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during his speech before the United Nations General Assembly that any aggression against Russia will be met with a decisive and unequivocal response. He emphasized the importance of NATO and the European Union not to doubt this.
Lavrov added that Kyiv and its European sponsors are aware of the severity of the current situation and appear genuinely unprepared to negotiate. He highlighted the need to ensure Russia's security, protect its vital interests, restore the rights of Russians and Russian speakers in territories controlled by the Kyiv regime, and fully uphold these rights.
Lavrov expressed Moscow's readiness to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine but pointed out that the current approach shows a lack of seriousness on the part of Kyiv and its allies.
It is noted that the Ukrainian delegation at the UN left the assembly hall at the beginning of Lavrov’s speech, indicating tension and a reluctance to engage.
