Qatar Gate: Arrest of Individuals Linked to Netanyahu and Accusations of Treason
قطر غيت

Hebrew media reported that developments related to the "Qatar Gate" case have escalated following the revelation of the involvement of prominent figures, some of whom are connected to the government of occupation led by Benjamin Netanyahu.

The occupying police have arrested two key individuals in the ongoing investigations, which are shrouded in secrecy, on charges related to transferring funds from a lobby working in favor of Qatar to Eli Feldstein, one of Netanyahu's media advisors. These developments have sparked sharp criticism from former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who accused Netanyahu's office of being infiltrated and committing treason against the state.

In response, Netanyahu's government denied these allegations, describing them as "false news with no basis in truth," emphasizing that the Prime Minister's office does not organize any payments for anyone. Bennett expressed his astonishment at Netanyahu's refusal to investigate the case, despite the seriousness of the allegations, stating that countries that respect themselves take immediate action to expel those involved, while Netanyahu appears to be trying to cover up the scandal.

Hebrew sources pointed out that Netanyahu’s advisor received his salary from funding channels linked to Qatar, indicating significant Qatari influence within Netanyahu's office. They also mentioned that the funds were transferred through a network of intermediaries, including the Berger Holding Company, which is said to have received the money from a Qatari lobby before transferring it to the Prime Minister's advisor.

The details of the case remain unclear, as the official charges under investigation have not yet been announced, amid a gag order on the details of the case.
