Return of Favoritism in the New Administration.. Maxim Khalil Reveals Return of Corruption Figures to Damascus
-
The statement reveals attempts by some figures associated with the previous regime to return to the economic scene through suspicious deals and partnerships with businessmen

Syrian actor Maxim Khalil posted an important tweet, beginning with the statement "The state gains trust when it makes crucial choices that prioritize the interests of poor Syrian citizens over wealthy ones before any other interest."
Khalil pointed to circulating information about attempts by some economic moguls close to Maher, Bashar, and Asma Al-Assad to return to Damascus, confirming their current presence in the capital celebrating their return with friends, seeking to arrange their illegal papers, and forming partnerships with Turkish and other businessmen.
Khalil revealed that these individuals are working to erase traces of their suspicious deals and other information from servers, noting that their place of residence is known, emphasizing that his sources are very reliable with names.
He appealed to news stations not to publish news that distorts this truth to pass certain interests, calling on the new government to maintain transparency and responsibility to recover Syrians' rights, warning against falling for the old phrase "what's the alternative."
Khalil concluded his post saying: "A nation whose economy is being restructured on the foundations of corruption and mafia will continue to suffer from poverty and inequality, and the phrase 'a nation for all Syrians' will remain mere words on paper," accompanying his tweet with hashtags #Be_Transparent, #Don't_Lose_The_Compass, #Syrian_People_Deserve_Better, #Clean_National_Technocrats_Are_The_Solution.
