Successful Security Operation to Combat Drug Trafficking in Ain Al-Arab and Surrounding Areas
Anti-narcotics units, supported by special forces from the Internal Security Forces, carried out a security operation yesterday evening in the city of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) and its surrounding countryside.
The operation resulted in the arrest of four individuals suspected of being involved in the trafficking and distribution of narcotic substances. During the operation, various quantities of drugs were seized, along with weapons that were in the possession of the detainees. This campaign is part of ongoing efforts to combat the spread of drugs and protect the community from their negative effects.
Furthermore, on July 6th, the Anti-Narcotics Forces of the Internal Security forces "Asayish" launched an extensive security campaign targeting several sites known for drug trafficking in the Raqqa countryside. The campaign, which involved synchronized operations, led to the arrest of 12 individuals suspected of being involved in drug trafficking and distribution, as part of continuous efforts to combat this phenomenon and safeguard the community's residents.
