Palestinian medical sources reported on Saturday the death of 66 children due to malnutrition in the Gaza Strip

The Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" quoted sources as saying that "the number of child victims due to hunger and malnutrition in Gaza has risen to 66, amidst ongoing siege, closure of crossings, and food shortages."

According to the agency, 17 hospitals are partially operational out of the 36 in the Gaza Strip, with no hospitals in northern Gaza or in Rafah to the south.

The World Health Organization announced early Saturday that around 112 children enter hospitals in Gaza daily for treatment of malnutrition since the start of this year, as a result of the Israeli blockade.

According to Palestinian Ministry of Health data, 56,300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks, while the number of injured reached 132,600, about 72% of whom are women and children.
