Coronavirus in Kuwait: 82-year-old recovers from virus, total recoveries now 73

An 82-year-old woman recovered from the deadly coronavirus in Kuwait, raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 73, the Minister of Health Basel Al-Sabah confirmed on Tuesday.

Kuwait has reported 266 cases of coronavirus.

The country has been taking several precautionary measures to curb the virus outbreak.

Kuwait implemented an 11-hour curfew from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. until further notice. All international flights were suspended, and schools and universities were ordered to close until August.

More than 100 high school students from across the Kingdom of Bahrain took part in the hackathon, which featured an intensive programme of training workshops and hands-on sessions. These activities were tailored to enhance participants’ critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and team-building capabilities, while also encouraging the development of practical and sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges using modern technological tools.
