Damascus: 6 Syrian Ministry of Defense Personnel Killed in an Israeli Attack Near Al-Kiswah

A new military escalation occurred around the city of Al-Kiswah in the Rif Dimashq governorate, where a Syrian Ministry of Defense military site was targeted by Israeli drones, resulting in the death of six soldiers, including an officer.
Military sources told Syria TV that army units were conducting maneuvers with armored weapons on Jabal Al-Mani’, near Dair Ali village, before the Israeli drone strike targeted the location last evening.
The sources added that the Israeli shelling targeted Jabal Al-Mani’, which separates Damascus from the southern Horan region, and led to the death of six army personnel. A Syrian Ministry of Defense official told AFP that at least three soldiers were killed in another raid targeting a military building affiliated with the 44th Brigade in the Al-Kiswah area.
The Syrian News Channel reported that Syrian army personnel were killed near the city of Al-Kiswah following attacks carried out by Israeli drones, amid repeated incursions and arrests carried out by Israeli forces in the Rif Dimashq and Quneitra countryside.
In other field developments, the town of Tareenja in the northern Quneitra countryside was targeted in an incident that resulted in the death of Rami Ahmed Ghanem. Syria TV’s correspondent confirmed that the victim was killed instantly due to a direct injury, with his condition fully deteriorating. It is believed that the targeting was carried out via a sniping operation before it was confirmed that the drone was affiliated with the Israeli occupation army.
In a related context, Israeli occupation forces penetrated the town of Swaisa in the southern Quneitra countryside, firing heavily and indiscriminately into residential neighborhoods to scare residents and establish control. They also detained a young man named Dharib Al-Jrayyan and transferred him to a military site in Tel Al-Ahmar, adding to the ongoing series of attacks and incursions in the area.
