Explosion at a Nitrogen Tank in Tabriz Refinery Causes Injuries in Iran

Iranian media reported today, Sunday, that an explosion occurred in a nitrogen tank inside the Tabriz refinery located in northwest Iran, resulting in several injuries.
The ISNA agency explained that the explosion led to eight people sustaining minor injuries due to increased pressure and a technical malfunction that caused the tank to rupture.
Local reports indicated that the incident caused thick smoke to rise in the surrounding area, raising concerns among residents and authorities.
However, official media confirmed that the Tabriz refinery continues to operate normally, and initial investigations suggest that there have been no significant human losses so far.
