Palestinian Player and Family Members Killed in Israeli Raid

The Palestinian Football Association clarified that young player Mohammed Ramez Sultan, who played for Al-Hilal Club, was killed along with 14 members of his family in an Israeli airstrike on their home in Gaza.
The federation announced via its Facebook account that "Child Mohammed Ramez Sultan, a player for Al-Hilal Club, and 14 members of his family, were martyred in an Israeli attack targeting their home in the Tuwam area northwest of Gaza City on Friday." It reported that the incident resulted in the death of the young player, who aspired to a future in sports, coinciding with the killing of his club teammate, Malek Abu Al-Ouamarin, who was shot by the Israeli army while awaiting humanitarian aid in northern Gaza.
The federation emphasized that Palestinian athletes are paying the price for the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, where even children and sportspeople have not been spared from assaults. This increases the suffering of the Palestinian community and highlights the scale of destruction and chaos affecting the lives of innocent civilians in Gaza.
