Sites near al-Qardaha evacuated and converted into military headquarters and camps
Sources in villages surrounding the city of al-Qardaha told *Al-Dalil* that members of factions affiliated with the Ministry of Defense had taken over the Qalaat al-Mahalbeh Forestry Center, located on the road between Qalaat al-Mahalbeh and al-Baqa’a, as their headquarters after removing the forestry police from the site.
The sources added that several members entered the al-Set Rama and Jabalna restaurants on Jabal al-Arin this morning and informed their owners that the establishments would be converted into military camps for one month to host a training course for the fighters.
Separately, the sources said residents are currently being prevented from visiting the religious shrine of al-Arbaeen on Jabal al-Arbaeen in al-Qardaha for security reasons. They noted increased activity in the area, alongside the movement of military equipment and supplies belonging to the fighters.
