Yemen Drone Attack Targets Israeli Ramon Airport
هجوم عبر المسيرات من اليمن يهدف إلى استهداف مطار رامون الإسرائيلي

Israeli media reports that a drone launched from Yemen hit the passenger hall at Ramon Airport in southern Israel, with reports of injuries among travelers.

Earlier, Israeli reports indicated that three drones were launched from Yemen towards Israeli territory on Sunday, triggering sirens in the area. The Israeli Air Force promptly launched aircraft to pursue the drones and later announced their interception.

The Israeli Home Front Command also activated sirens in the Nitzana area near the Egyptian border, while Israeli Channel 12 reported that the three drones were detected in Sinai and were heading toward Israel.

About an hour after the incident, the Israeli military issued a statement confirming that the Air Force intercepted three drones, two of which were shot down before crossing into Israeli territory. The group Ansar Allah (Houthi) in Yemen did not immediately claim responsibility for launching the drones.

Yemen's Houthis continue to carry out ongoing attacks against Israel, including strikes with ballistic missiles and drones, as well as targeting commercial ships associated with Israel, under the banner of supporting Palestinian resistance and responding to the ongoing Israeli massacres in Gaza.
