غزة _ أرشيف

Palestinian media confirmed that the Israeli army carried out sudden airstrikes on the "Al-Baqqa" rest area on the beach in Gaza City, resulting in the death of 24 people, including journalist Ismail Abu Hatab. A statement from Hamas stated that Israeli aircraft targeted a gathering of civilians who were heading to a beach rest area in the busy center of Gaza, which is crowded with displaced people fleeing ongoing shelling in the eastern part of the city. This led to a massacre, claiming the lives of dozens of martyrs.

Media outlets indicated that the strikes killed 21 people and wounded dozens more. The rest area is located near a distribution center for aid on Gaza's beach. With the death of journalist Abu Hatab, the toll of journalists killed since the start of the Gaza war has risen to 227 media personnel.
