اعتداء مسلح في القدس يوقع 5 قتلى و14 جريحًا

Israeli media reported today, Monday, that five people were killed and 14 others injured in a shooting incident at the Ramot settlement junction near Jerusalem. This occurred at a time when the Israeli army is conducting an infiltration operation into the Qalandia camp north of East Jerusalem.

Israeli media stated that the shooting resulted in the deaths of five people and injuries to 14 others, including seven in critical condition. First aid was provided to many of the wounded at the scene. They added that the perpetrators of the shooting, who are around 20 years old, came from the West Bank and are believed to originate from one of the villages of Ramallah. They have no prior security records or entry permits to Israel.

According to Palestinian media on the X platform, the perpetrators belong to the towns of Qubiba and Qattana, northwest of occupied Jerusalem. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that one of the gunmen was found at the scene with a Carlo rifle.

Following the attack, Israeli military forces closed all crossings and entrances to Ramallah, imposed a blockade on four Palestinian villages neighboring Jerusalem, and closed military checkpoints at Qalandia camp. Initial investigations indicate that the attackers are from East Jerusalem.

The Israeli Ambulance Service stated that more than 15 people were injured due to the shooting, as announced today, with total injuries reaching 20 so far. Israeli police attempted to neutralize the shooters.
