Israeli casualties and closure of King Hussein Bridge crossing after border attack
Arabia TV reported, citing its correspondent, that armed individuals opened fire on Israeli security forces at the King Hussein Bridge border crossing between Jordan and Israel. The attack resulted in the deaths of two Israeli security personnel and injuries to others in critical condition. The crossing was immediately closed following the incident.
The Israeli Army Radio clarified that the attackers arrived from the Jordanian side and carried out the attack in the area of the bridge's loading zone. It confirmed that three militants from Jordan were responsible for the operation.
