Syrian Minister of Interior Meets with Shiite Notables to Promote Security and Stability
On Sunday, Syrian Minister of Interior Anas Al-Khateab received a delegation comprising figures and elders from the Shiite community in the country, in the presence of several senior officials from the ministry.
The Ministry of Interior's channel on Telegram reported that the meeting discussed ways to enhance the security and stability of the country, with an emphasis on the role of citizens in supporting state institutions and promoting national unity and social cohesion.
Al-Khateab stressed the importance of ongoing communication with various community figures to strengthen mutual trust and build an effective national partnership.
This meeting is part of a series of discussions the minister has been conducting, including previous meetings with defected army officers who broke away from the former regime. The focus of these discussions has been on current priorities, such as strengthening discipline, developing personnel, intensifying training programs, and increasing the efficiency of security agencies—all aimed at providing the best services to citizens and securing a more stable future.
