Israeli force of more than 50 troops enters Taranja village in Quneitra
توغل اسرائيلي

Amid rising security tensions, northern Quneitra countryside saw a large-scale Israeli military incursion on Thursday morning. A force of more than 50 soldiers, traveling in seven military vehicles, entered the village of Taranja.

The movement comes amid a series of repeated Israeli incursions into areas of southern Syria, heightening civilians’ concerns for their safety and security, with no effective deterrent to halt the ongoing violations.

The escalation coincided with a deadly incident reported shortly beforehand by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. An Israeli incursion into the village of Jamlah, in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside, reportedly left one civilian dead after he was shot by Israeli forces.
