Russian Forces Capture a New Village and Penetrate Enemy Defenses in Dnipropetrovsk Region
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, that Russian forces have taken control of a new village in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The ministry confirmed that units from the Eastern Group of Forces advanced deep into enemy defenses and liberated the village of Kalinovskoye in the area.
In its statement, the ministry explained that "units from the Eastern Group of Forces managed to advance and liberated the village of Kalinovskoye in Dnipropetrovsk," noting that Russian Western Group forces have improved their position along the front lines, focusing on targeting Ukrainian forces and equipment in various areas of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Kharkiv region.
The statement indicated that Ukrainian casualties on these fronts amounted to approximately 240 soldiers, in addition to the destruction of several combat vehicles and field artillery. It also confirmed that Russian aviation, utilizing operational and tactical aircraft, along with unmanned aerial vehicles, missile and artillery forces, targeted vital transportation infrastructure, long-range drone launch sites, and temporary positions of Ukrainian army formations and foreign mercenaries in 147 locations.
