Turkish border guards kill Syrian child in Atma camps

A Syrian child was killed by the Turkish border guards Gendarmerie forces in Atma camps, north of Idlib.
A video on Twitter showed Turkish gendarmerie forces targeting a Syrian child in the Atmeh camp, north of the Syrian city of Idlib.
In the video, the speaker referred to the killing of the Syrian child on August 22, 2021.
The footage showed that the child was eating his food before he was killed by the Turkish Gendarmerie forces.
Perhaps he was dining with his family or some of his friends in the camp.

There is a tray on the floor with tea cups and a jug.
The blood stains that spilled from the child after he was killed were still on the mattress.
Another shot showed splashes of blood on the walls of the tent where he was targeted.

According to the spokesman who published the video, the child was taken to the hospital, but the heavy gunfire and explosive bullets did not leave him a chance to survive.

It is worth noting that the Turkish border guards are constantly targeting Syrians, without distinguishing between children and adults.
Turkey continues violating its international obligations, including the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights by firing live bullets, beating, abusing and insulting Syrian on the Syria-Turkey border.
A report published by the United Nations showed that the war in Syria has left 90 percent of the country’s children in need of help.
According to UNICEF’s Representative in Syria, Bo Viktor Nylund, “since 2011, nearly 12,000 children were verified as killed or injured in Syria, that’s one child every eight hours over the past ten years. As we all know, these are children that the UN was able to verify as having been killed or injured, and the actual numbers are likely to be much higher".
