This Wednesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces conducted a new incursion into the countryside of Quneitra, as a military patrol entered the road leading to the town of Jubata al-Khashab, according to Syria TV.

The source reported that the patrol advanced toward the village of Ain al-Nourieh, with no arrests recorded so far, while the immediate reasons behind this sudden military movement remain unclear.

This incursion comes just days after Israeli forces stationed themselves last Saturday in an abandoned house along the Hader–Taranja road, converting it into a temporary military post. Military activity was observed in the area, accompanied by the arrival of approximately 40 soldiers, field equipment, and the installation of basic infrastructure, including windows and tents around the house.

According to the source, the forces informed local residents that the house and surrounding area were now considered a military zone, prohibiting civilian access.

In a related development, Israeli forces last Friday arrested three Syrian civilians in the destroyed Quneitra area and seized a tractor they were using to transport remains of trees previously removed by Israeli machinery.

Israeli military aggression on Syrian territory has escalated significantly since the fall of the Assad regime on December 8, with the occupation forces carrying out hundreds of airstrikes targeting Syrian military sites in an effort to destroy infrastructure and prevent its rehabilitation.

Previously, Israeli soldiers opened fire on two young men from the village of Saison in western Daraa countryside, wounding them moderately before arresting and transferring them into the occupied territories. The Israeli army has since taken control of the buffer zone and expanded its raids into border areas.
