Seventh Consecutive Day: Escalation of Confrontation between Israel and Iran

The ongoing confrontation between Israel and Iran continues for the seventh consecutive day, with massive explosions rocking northern Israel, while the Israeli military monitored sites for Iranian missile launches.
On Thursday afternoon, the Israeli army announced the activation of sirens in northern Israel after detecting missiles launched from Iran towards Israeli territory, marking a new escalation in the ongoing tension between the two sides.
In an official statement, the IDF confirmed that its forces intercepted the missiles to neutralize the threat, stating: "Meanwhile, the Israeli Air Force is confronting the threats and working to destroy the missile launch sources."
The IDF also observed missile launch sites in western Iran, after Iran attempted to re-establish these locations. IDF spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, explained that in recent days, Israeli forces monitored several Iranian attempts to rebuild launch and storage sites. He added: "We bombed engineering vehicles working in the area and eliminated dozens of Iranian military personnel operating there."
Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli army announced that approximately 20 aircraft carried out a series of airstrikes in western Iran, targeting land-to-land missile sites and Iranian forces. It also monitored trucks transporting land-to-land missiles and struck them as they arrived at the launch area.
Since June 13, Israel has conducted a series of airstrikes and attacks on various Iranian sites, targeting military facilities, missile launch platforms, and nuclear-related targets. These operations have included the assassination of dozens of senior Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists. According to the Washington-based "Human Rights Activists," these strikes have resulted in at least 639 deaths and 1,329 injuries, with the organization confirming the identities of 263 civilians and 154 security personnel among the casualties.
In response, Tehran launched missiles and drones toward Israel, threatening further escalation and an expanded scope of operations.
