Deadly Israeli Escalation in Gaza: Targeting Civilians

Israeli forces opened fire at dawn today, Wednesday, targeting gatherings of civilians at the Nitzareem crossing, which divides Gaza into northern and southern parts, as people attempted to access humanitarian aid.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported to Arab/Alhurra.com that at least 25 Palestinians were killed and 90 others wounded in the initial toll. Eyewitnesses indicated that there are additional casualties at the site, but medical teams have been unable to reach them due to intense Israeli gunfire.
Additionally, Alhurra correspondents confirmed that the Israeli military launched a series of airstrikes targeting the Nuseirat area in the center of Gaza, resulting in the death of two Palestinians and injuries to others. The Israeli army continued densely bombing the Khan Younis area in the south and northern regions of Gaza, alongside naval shelling along the western coast of Khan Younis.
In related developments, medical sources reported the deaths of four Palestinians in an Israeli airstrike targeting tents of displaced persons in Khan Younis. Yesterday, around 60 Palestinians were also killed by Israeli fire, mostly while trying to obtain food near the American distribution point in Nitsareem.
It is noteworthy that over the past two weeks, incidents of killings and attacks on civilians during their attempts to access aid from distribution centers operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation have repeated frequently, drawing strong international criticism, especially from the United Nations and relief organizations, which described the distribution mechanism adopted two weeks ago by that American-Israeli foundation as ineffective.
