Movement of Displacement in Iran… Israel Warns of Beirut-Style Scenario

Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, reiterated his threats today, Monday, directly addressing the residents of Tehran. This follows his previous warning yesterday about the possibility of executing a destruction scenario similar to what happened in the southern suburb of Beirut last year.
In the same context, an Israeli security source confirmed that the Israeli military will soon announce orders to evacuate neighborhoods in Tehran as part of Israel’s strategic response plan to Iranian attacks on civilian areas. The source added that the Israeli Air Force will later demolish targeted buildings, similar to what Israel did in Beirut last year, when it heavily bombed the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital following clashes between Hezbollah and Israel.
In Tehran, the city experienced significant traffic congestion, especially on its northern entrances towards the Caspian Sea, according to the Iranian news agency. Numerous scenes of long car queues in the streets appeared as residents tried to flee Israeli bombardments, following Israel’s vow to carry out more strikes in response to Iranian attacks that targeted Tel Aviv and Haifa at dawn today, resulting in 8 deaths and over 85 injuries.
Heavy traffic was also observed at the Bazargan border crossing between Iran and Turkey, amid increasing Israeli threats.
As a precaution, the Iranian government announced yesterday that mosques, metro stations, and schools are being prepared to serve as shelters for civilian protection. However, expert analyst in Iranian affairs, Masoud Fek, stated that Tehran is insufficiently equipped, especially considering its population nearing 10 million, which puts great pressure on authorities to make efforts to prepare for the crisis.
Since Friday, June 13, Israel has launched a broad military campaign against Iran, targeting military sites and nuclear facilities, in an attempt to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons—an issue Iran repeatedly denies. This direct military confrontation between the two countries is the first of its kind in decades, having previously taken place mainly through covert operations and proxy wars.
