Unprecedented Military Escalation Continues for the Fourth Day Between Israel and Iran

For the fourth consecutive day, an unprecedented military escalation persists between Israel and Iran. Today, Monday, witnessed a new round of missile and drone attacks from both sides.
The Israeli military announced at dawn that it had detected Iran launching a new wave of missiles, affirming that its defenses are actively responding to this threat. In a Telegram statement, the Israeli Defense Forces said: “The Israel Defense Forces recently observed the launch of missiles from Iran toward the State of Israel’s territory,” and added that instructions have been issued for citizens to enter protected areas and remain there until further notice.
Israeli media reported that the Iranian attacks on Tel Aviv and Haifa today are the most intense since early Friday, amid ongoing escalation.
In another field development, the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Intelligence, Mohammad Kazemi, was killed along with two other officers in an Israeli raid, according to IRNA news agency. The agency quoted a Revolutionary Guard statement confirming that “three intelligence generals—Mohammad Kazemi, Hassan Mokhaq, and Mohsen Baqeri—were assassinated.”
Diplomatically, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, called for a special meeting of the EU foreign ministers tomorrow, Tuesday, to discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. An official in her office confirmed that the situation in the Middle East has exceeded the danger threshold, and the 27 member states have been invited to coordinate efforts to de-escalate tensions.
