The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Wednesday, the registration of six new deaths, including a child, resulting from famine and malnutrition affecting the sector over the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the ministry explained that the death toll from famine has risen to 367 martyrs, including 131 children. It pointed out that since the sector's situation was classified as famine by the IPC organization on August 22, 89 deaths have been recorded, including 16 children.

The ministry emphasized that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is continuously worsening due to the ongoing blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies. It reiterated its call for the international community and aid organizations to intervene urgently and effectively to save the situation.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa," citing medical sources, reported that the death toll from the Israeli war on Gaza since dawn Tuesday has risen to 112 martyrs, including 24 who were awaiting humanitarian assistance.

The sources explained that the number of martyrs who have arrived at Gaza hospitals includes 36 at Al-Shifa Hospital, 5 at Sheikh Ridhoun Clinic, 13 at the Arab Evangelical Hospital, 12 at Al-Awda Hospital, 6 at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and 40 at Nasser Hospital.

It is worth noting that the Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in over 63,000 deaths and approximately 161,000 injuries, most of them children and women. Additionally, there are over 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced people, in a humanitarian crisis that is rapidly deteriorating.
