Trump's Plan to End the Gaza War: Details and International Reservations

n and Israeli media outlets have revealed details of U.S. President Donald Trump's 21-point plan aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza and creating conditions for a future Palestinian state.
The Times of Israel reported that the plan was shared with several Arab and Islamic countries during the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York, as part of efforts to end the war and promote peace in the region.
According to the newspaper, the plan seeks to encourage Palestinians to remain in Gaza, marking a radical shift in the Trump administration's stance. In January, Trump made controversial statements indicating Washington's intention to control the sector and relocate its residents abroad.
The plan includes a series of political, economic, and security measures, such as ending military operations between Israel and Palestinian factions, exchanging prisoners, forming an interim Palestinian government, comprehensive reconstruction of Gaza, and steps towards establishing an independent Palestinian state.
While some provisions—especially those related to reconstruction and statehood—are appealing to the Palestinian side, the plan also contains difficult conditions, most notably the disarmament of Hamas and its exclusion from governance. These requirements may face strong opposition from Palestinian allies, particularly since some clauses of the plan could upset Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who might oppose any steps leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state amid Israel’s security challenges.
