An Iranian Official Confirms Iran's Readiness to Respond to Any Escalation

A senior Iranian security official stated today, Thursday, that the departure of American personnel from the region is insignificant, emphasizing that this move does not pose a real threat to Iran. He clarified that the withdrawal of non-essential personnel is merely a defensive reaction to Iran's warnings that it will target its interests and regional bases in case of any aggressive escalation.
In a statement to Iranian Press TV, the official, who requested anonymity, said: "What the Americans are doing is not a message of threat to Iran, but rather a response to Iran's threats to their interests." He pointed out that this coincides with the partial evacuation of U.S. personnel from West Asia, which was confirmed by President Donald Trump's statements, where he said they are relocating staff because the situation may become dangerous and that they are monitoring the developments.
Amid rising possibilities of Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, the official indicated that Iran is at its "highest levels of military readiness," warning that any aggressive act by the United States or Israel will be met with a swift and unexpected response. He affirmed that the country is prepared to retaliate in an unpredictable manner and that any hostile attempt will face a decisive response.
